Jian’an Primary School has been awarded as the High Quality School in Bao’an District, the First-grade School of Guangdong Province, Provincial Green School, Provincial Scholarly Campus, Provincial Experimental School of Modern Education Technology, in Subdistrict Xin'an of Baoan District. We were successively rated as the firtst National Women Civilization Post of education system in Baoan District in Febrary 2009, the Prize of Great Efficiency in Running the School in Shenzhen City in August 2009, one of The First Performance Excellence Model Demonstration Schools in Baoan District and became one of The First Pilot Schools in Shenzhen city in October 2011. At present, the school covers an area of 16234 square meters, and has a buiding area of 17173 square meters, green area of 4993 square meters. Now the School holds 2199 pupils in 39 classes and has a faculty of over 121 members. Our teacher qualifications compliance rate is 100%, including 2 graduate degrees, 83 Bachelor degrees and 32 College degrees. In our school leadership team, there is 1 principal, 2 vice presidents, 1 director and 2 deputy directors of School Office, the Department of Teaching and Moral Education Department, 1 director of Registered Safety Office, and 1 Young Pioneers Counsellor.
In autumn of 2007, Principal Lai Xiangheng proposed a "Comprehensive Development Plan” based on creating a good education to fit each student's personality and educational philosophy, combined with our school situation. This program promoted personalized system construction of first class, school-based curriculum, characteristic classes and other educational activities, which achieved good results. In recent years, our school has been awarded the following titles: The Advanced Units in Shenzhen education system, Shenzhen Model School of Law-oriented Management, Shenzhen Safe and Civilized Campus, Baoan Safe and Civilized Campus, the Advanced Unit of Education, the Advanced Unit of Education and Scientific Research, the Advanced Unit of Teachers' Continuing Education, the Advanced Unit of Family Education Campaign Week, Art Education school, the Advanced Unit of Chinese Education Institute of Mathematics Education Research and Development Center, awarded the National Experimental School of New School Action Plan, etc. Our Chinese Department and English Department are the Advanced Departments in Baoan Education System. And, the Music Department and Art Department are the Advanced Departments in Shenzhen Education System. According to statistics, in nearly three years, our school was awarded collective honors for 49 times, student awards for 306 person-times, teacher awards for 140 person-times.
